How to Make a Fruit Burrito

A good classic burrito is enough to bring a smile of satisfaction on anyone's face. A small twist of taste would surely get on excited. A vegetarian's delight and a mood lifter for everyone, this Fruit And Chocolate Burrito will bring a smile on your face.

Making the burritos

  1. Finely chop all the fruits and remember to take out the eyes of the pineapple and save 10 strawberries for another preparation.
  2. On a tortilla, put some of the cheese mix and spread it around.
  3. For the filling, either mix the chopped fruits and place the mixture on the cheese or place the fruits separately for a different fruit taste as you go down the burrito.
  4. On the fruits, drizzle some mayo and a little generous amount of chocolate sauce. Sprinkle a small amount of cilantro to get the perfect herb and fruit flavor combination Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  5. Sprinkle a little cheese on the cilantro and roll the burrito in the standard way. Now Heat the burrito on both the sides to heat and cook the cheese and to allow all the flavors to mix properly.
  6. Make as many burritos possible using the entire mixture using the same steps.

Making the Sauce

  1. Roughly chop the strawberries and put them in a pan with the flame set on low-medium.
  2. Add the sugar and cook the strawberries till the sugar melts and the sauce is thick and deep red in color.
  3. Then remove the pan from the flame and allow it to cool to room temperature before refrigerating it.
  4. Collect all the yogurt in a large bowl and the chilled strawberry sauce in it.
  5. Add the cream and mix thoroughly until the entire mixture is pink, smooth and even.
  6. Add the honey and mix again.
  7. Serve the burritos with this dip sauce.
  8. Finished.


  • Tortillas(any variety but cornflour is preferred.)
  • Mozzarella,Gouda and Parmesan grated with equal proportions and mixed
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 30 Strawberries
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 3 Mangoes(optional)
  • 2 Oranges
  • 3 Bananas
  • 2 cups of Grapes(optional)
  • Chocolate syrup
  • 5 cups of Fresh whipped Yogurt
  • 3 cups of Fresh whipped cream
  • 1 1/2 cups of Sugar
  • 15 ml of Honey
  • A pinch of Cinnamon powder
  • Cilantro/Coriander(Very finely chopped)
  • Mayonnaise


  • If the cheese does not melt to desired level, microwave the burritos instead of heating on a pan but if you still need the pan-cooked texture, heat the tortilla before you place the filling and microwave again to cook the filling and melt the cheese.
  • The dip is important and you might not be able to enjoy the burrito as much without it.
  • Do not overuse the cilantro as it can sabotage the entire flavor ride.
