Want to spice up your dinner for just one night? Here are some simple steps that help you do just that. All you have to do is simply follow each step and then you will end up having a wonderful spanish rice dish. Add your own meats, or side dishes and you will have people lining up at the door.

  1. Start off by boiling 4 cups of water into your nonstick cast aluminum pot, (Caldero, Non stick not advised) with teaspoon of salt.
  2. Add a can of Goya Gandules.
  3. Then add a tablespoon of homemade sofrito (store brand applicable).
  4. Add one packet of SAZON GOYA "unique seasoning" (seasoning)
    • One packet of SAZON GOYA "con zafran" (for the yellow orange color)
  5. Lower the pot to a medium heat and then add 3 cups of rice into pot
  6. Very important! Be sure the rice and water is leveled
  7. Add tablespoon of cooking oil (keeps rice from becoming grainy or sticky) (skip step if you prefer a sticky rice)
  8. Leave uncovered until rice absorbs all water (stay close by)
  9. Stir the rice once the water has been absorbed
  10. Place lid on the rice and let cook for 15 to 20 minutes, (do not stir, allow to cook)
  11. Finally the rice should be fluffy and ready to serve
  12. Lastly, Eat, Eat, and Enjoy!!!!

  • Stay close when waiting for the water to be absorbed, when trying for the first few timesThanks!Helpful0Not Helpful0
