How to Make a Lime Pie
Lime pie is a delicious dessert and this recipe is made up of lime juice, Cool Whip, and sweetened condensed milk in a pie crust. Here is a twist on your regular lime pie; There's no oven needed for this delicious desert! Get started by scrolling down to step 1.

Prepare the limes. Cut the limes into a half. Squeeze out 2/3 cup of lime juice. Try not to get any pulp into the cup, if you do then try to remove it, because it will taste very bitter in the pie.

Add the Cool Whip. Add the 2/3 of the Cool Whip into the bowl. With 2/3 the can of condensed milk.

Mix the Cool Whip and condensed milk until it is one color.

Add the lime juice. Add the lime juice into the mixture and mix until you can no longer see the juice.

Add the food coloring. Drop two-three drops of green food coloring and mix until color is evenly distributed. The food coloring gives it a better appearance and makes it look like a prettier lime pie.

Open the graham pie crust and keep the clear cover.

Pour all of the lime pie mix into the crust. Use a rubber spatula for easy scraping..

Get a spare lime with a very bright green body. Use the cheese grater to lightly grate the peel and sprinkle it on the pie. This step is optional.

Secure the pie. Get out the cover that you saved and place it on top of the pie. Get the aluminum folds and close the pie, securing the cover.

Chill. Place in the freezer for at least 5-6 hours.

Ingredients
- 4-5 large green limes (not key lime)
- 2/3 cup Cool Whip
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2-3 drops green food coloring
- Graham cracker pie crust
Tips
- Treat pie like you would treat ice cream, do not leave out for a long time put back in freezer after you take your slice.
- You can use bought lime juice for a faster piem but the juice from the lime is one of the best you can get and tastes much better in your pie.
Warnings
- Try not to get pulp into the mix, because if you bite off a part with pulp it will taste very bitter.
