How to Make Israeli Mint Tea

It is also a great way to cool down on a hot summer day, though Israelis drink it year around. Steps

Stir sugar, tea bags, mint leaves, and lemon salt together in a teapot or carafe.

Add boiling water and put the top on.

Ingredients
- 8 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. mint leaves (Jews grow a plant called nana in their gardens. Similar in taste, but is hard to find outside of Israel.)
- 4 shakes lemon salt
- 5 cups boiling water
- 4 tea bags
Warnings
- Don't burn your tongue! Let the tea cool in the mug, first.
- Don't burn yourself with the boiling water.
