Summer is here! No need to pay out money every week to get a French pedicure. Save your cash for more sandals! Here's the easiest at-home pedicure ever.

Steps

  1. Soak feet in hot water. Use epson salts to soften feet.
  2. Use a pumice stone to rub off rough spots to make feet nice and soft.
  3. Rub lotion or Vaseline into feet and legs to create a silky smooth feel.
  4. Use a cuticle trimmer to cut off dead skin around toe nails. Be careful not to cut too deep; you're just cutting off the dead skin!
  5. Rinse feet and apply a rich lotion to feet and give it a few minutes to soak in. again.
  6. Use a cotton ball with nail polish remover to remove lotion and/or nail polish from toenails.
  7. Use a white nail polish and paint the tips of each toenail. Let dry and apply a second coat so that the white doesn't look splotchy. Don't worry if it looks messy, you'll fix it in the next step!
  8. Take a make-up concealer brush and dip it in preferably 100% acetone. Remove excess acetone on a paper towel. usually just make a swiping motion to create a thin white line. Don't worry about messing up, try to keep a steady hand.
  9. Use the brush, and remove excess white nail polish until you create a thin, straight line. You will have to take it slow and be careful not to make it crooked but eventually you'll be a pro!
  10. Let the white dry for a minute or two. To help the drying process slowly dip your feet in ice cold water. This will also make the polish more durable.
  11. Cover your nails in a clear coat of polish. and Voila! A perfect pedicure.
