Do you want some colored streaks in your hair for a very low price? Keep reading!

  1. Look below at the Things You'll Need.
  2. After you have gathered your materials, grab both packs of the Kool-Aid and pour them in the bowl.
  3. Add a few drops of conditioner in the bowl. You need to use about twice as much as you would normally use in your hair.
  4. Put the vinegar in the bowl as well.(Not mandatory- look below with ingredients)
  5. Mix it together to form a nice paste. There shouldn't be any lumps in it.
  6. Put on the plastic gloves. It's going to get messy.
  7. (You may need a buddy to help) Dip the brush in the paste and brush it against a streak in your hair.
  8. Once you are done, wrap the streaks in some foil.
  9. After letting the paste sit for a few minutes (about 5 or ten), use a hair dryer (on low) on the foil. It'll help the paste bake into your hair (not necessary).
  10. Leave in the paste for a few hours to overnight.
  11. Take the foil out and use a hair dryer on the streaks

  • Wear an old t-shirt.
  • Get someone to help you.
  • Add vinegar for more vibrant color.
  • If you are planning on dying your whole head apply some vaseline on your forehead, neck ears, etc.
  • If you boil your kool aid mixture and then dip your hair in it the dye stays in longer.
  • Sometimes this can last for up to two months, if you're lucky. Other times, it'll come out the next time you use shampoo.
  • If you have darker hair, it could be less noticeable than if you had blonde hair, bleach before you dye your hair for best results.

  • Kool-aid stains! If you happen to get it on your skin, rub some toothpaste on it. It'll come right out.
