Have you ever seen an item that you wanted but your parents won't let you have it? Well you can have the item by taking matters into your own hands and ordering it off the internet; be careful though!

  1. Calculate the price of the item you want. Go to the website you wish to order off of and add the item to your wish list and check the shipping. Add the shipping and the actual cost of the item. The sum is how much money you'll need to buy the item.
  2. Go to your local grocery store and buy a gift card to the online store. Most stores will have a website and the website should accept gift cards as payment. Buy enough gift cards to get your item.
  3. Go on the computer when your parents aren't around to see what website you are going on. Order the item and look for an appropriate shipping speed. Try to have the item arrive when you know your parents are not home or when you can check the mail.
  4. Receive the item in the mail. Check the mail before your parents do. Do not go overboard in worrying about the mail.
  5. Hide the item. Look for a place to hide it in your room or the basement. Make sure your parents won't find it ever because then you will be caught.
  6. Destroy the evidence. Throw away all receipts, boxes, envelopes, etc. This can also get you in trouble.

  • Use a gift order option if you can therefore you may be exempt from tax and you can tell your parents the order is a gift.
  • Load up an online games website in case your parents enter while you're ordering.
  • Clear the history after ordering to dispose of evidence of this article and the online store you used.
  • Most gift cards don't get taxed.
  • Think of an excuse in case you get caught.
  • Try making USPS the carrier of the item so no adult signature will be required.
  • Check the related wikiHows page.
  • Ship the item to a friend's house if your friend has a good excuse and easy going parents.
  • Ship to an Amazon Locker if possible, no risk, no signature, no ID

  • If you do get caught your parents will lose trust in you or even install parental controls on your computer, blocking all online stores.
  • If your parents find any evidence, come clean.
