Do you want to make yummy treats for your hamster? You'll just need a few simple ingredients, and you'll have delicious hamster treats in no time!

  1. Gather the ingredients and things you'll need. You will need a tablespoon, a bowl, a teaspoon, a box of Cheerios, peanut butter, and some honey if you'd like.
  2. Crush the Cheerios. Using a spoon, crush the Cheerios and place them into a bowl.
  3. Add the peanut butter. Add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and stir until it forms a consistent mix.
  4. Add honey (optional). For extra taste, add about a teaspoon of honey if desired, then stir until it is mixed in with the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Put the mix in the oven. Put the mixture in the oven for 10 minutes on 350.(pre heat the oven for about 5 minutes or until hot
  6. Scoop. Once you've removed the mixture from the oven, scoop it into little balls using a teaspoon.
  7. Let harden. Put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes to harden, then serve them to your hamster.

  • 2 tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of plain Cheerios
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey (optional)

  • If you want, you can adjust the amount of peanut butter in the recipe.
  • If you smell the treats burning, take them out immediately and put them in the freezer.
  • The serving size is 1 treat. The amount of servings depend on how big/small you make the treats.
  • These are edible for humans. (You may want to test them to make sure they aren't burnt/too dry.)
  • When you stir it, try to make the mix kind of stiff
  • If you want, you can scoop the treats into balls before baking to make it easier.
  • This works nicely with Jiffy peanut butter.

  • Don't put in too much honey or it will be too sweet and sugary for your hamster.
  • Peanut butter should only be given in small quantities. Too much peanut butter can get stuck in your pet's cheek pouches.
  • Do not use chunky peanut butter. It might get stuck in your hamster's throat.
  • Do not make this if you are allergic to any of these ingredients!
